The 'usual' Navy Honor Guard flag is identical to the Army flag except the blue rectangle has a proportion of 1:2.
Miles Li, 17 March 2004
The Naval Honor Guard flag was used until 1990. Since 1991 it has the same design as the Navy Unit flag.
Miles Li, 12 March 2014
I have to concede that my previous flag image of the Navy Honor Guard (1958?-1986) is incorrect: it should be of the same pattern as the Army Unit flag (since 1962), i.e. the blue rectangle should have the proportions 2:3, not 1:2.

Since 1986 the Navy Honor Guard flag has followed the same design as the Navy unit flag: blue, with the Navy emblem at the centre, the unit name in black letters on a white strip near the hoist, and yellow fringe.

The flag for the Naval Honor Guard of the Republic of China (Taiwan). It's flown when the Honor Guard of Friendship Promoting Fleet performances. Because the Fleet mainly shows in the international occasions, "the Naval Honor Guard of the Republic of China" are written in Chinese on hoist. The flags of the Naval Honor Guard are still in use.

Used when the Navy Honor Guard is on public relations/quasi-diplomatic visits to foreign nations.

The flag for the Naval Honor Guard of the Republic of China (Taiwan), too. It's flown when the Naval Honor Guard performances. Because it shows in the domestic occasions only, "the Naval Honor Guard" are written in Chinese on hoist without "of the Republic of China". The flags of the Naval Honor Guard are still in use.
